Early Years

Our Early Years programme is where every child's journey begins. We create nurturing spaces that celebrate play, curiosity and discovery, while supporting the developmental milestones of our youngest learners. With sensory play, outdoor exploration and caring relationships at the core, the Early Years set the stage for a lifelong love of learning.

Little Sunshines (6 months - 1 year)

The Little Sunshines class offers a calm, nurturing start where babies explore the world through sensory play, music and gentle routines. Our focus is on building secure attachments and providing a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity at every milestone.

We work closely with families to support early development, ensuring each child feels safe and cared for. This early stage lays the groundwork for independence and a love of discovery.

Sparkles

Sparkles (1 - 2 years)

In Sparkles, toddlers begin to express their personalities while exploring through play, movement and language. Learning happens through songs, stories and hands-on experiences that strengthen communication and motor skills.

Outdoor learning and sensory play form an essential part of the day, giving children opportunities to investigate their surroundings in joyful, meaningful ways. The Sparkles classroom is where curiosity takes root, supported by caring relationships and a secure environment.

Fireflies (2 - 3 years)

The Fireflies class builds on growing independence and a desire to connect with others. Through role play, art, and collaborative games, children begin developing the social skills that prepare them for the PYP journey ahead.

Teachers encourage choice and agency, allowing children to follow their interests and ask questions about the world. Outdoor and sensory learning remain central, ensuring every child is engaged in discovery. This stage fosters resilience, creativity and a love of learning through exploration.
