The IB Learner is curious, compassionate and principled. They think critically, communicate effectively and act with integrity. Open-minded and caring, they balance personal growth with responsibility to others and the planet, preparing to thrive in a diverse and changing world.
International mindedness is a view of the world in which people see themselves connected to the global community and assume a sense of responsibility towards its members.
The IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL) provide the dispositions and foundational skills for the development and demonstration of international mindedness. The learning community envisions, creates, articulates and models a culture of international mindedness. An internationally minded learner takes action for positive change.
Our approach to learning emphasises interactive and play-based methods that nurture all aspects of a child’s development - social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional. We advocate learning through play and discovery, which is complemented by language immersion in French and Swahili.
Our curriculum encourages student agency, allowing children to have a voice, make choices and take ownership of their learning journey. Inquiry-based learning is at the heart of our approach, fostering curiosity and encouraging students to explore and question, thereby enhancing their educational experience.
