Kindergarten Programme
The Kindergarten Programme at The Vale School Muthaiga caters to children aged one to five. For the youngest learners (ages 1 to 2), we offer an adapted PYP lite curriculum, while children aged 3 to 5 engage with the IB PYP curriculum framework. This child-centered, vibrant programme is designed to cultivate kindness, curiosity, and happiness, empowering children to thrive developmentally. Each aspect of the curriculum is tailored to nurture these qualities, ensuring a fun and enriching educational experience for our early learners.

Our Approach to Learning
Our approach to learning at The Vale School Muthaiga emphasises interactive and play-based methods that nurture all aspects of a child’s development—social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional. We advocate learning through play and discovery, which is complemented by language immersion in French and Swahili. Our curriculum encourages student agency, allowing children to have a voice, make choices and take ownership of their learning journey. Inquiry-based learning is at the heart of our approach, fostering curiosity and encouraging students to explore and question, thereby enhancing their educational experience.
